Founding father of the Barcelona-based vase brand “Valeria Vasi,” Valeria Vasileva has all the time had a fascination for object design, sculpture, and visible art. After a primary career in trend and business, she found ceramics and fell head over heels in love with it. In her Spanish workshop, she makes handmade items in small collection. To protect the authenticity that provides each of her creations its unique character! Halfway between practical object and pure sculpture, the artist’s vases reveal clear strains, simple shapes and delicate colours. Minimalist pieces that gracefully gown up a desk or a windowsill, alone or with others, both flowered and empty. This is the place Valeria’s mastery lies. Her small, useful sculptures are proof that the right stability between inventive expression and utility exists.
