Dutch designer Pien Stieglitz has opened her first bodily store within the coronary heart of Amsterdam that smells like the 1970s.

The ladies’s style model, which she based eight years in the past, blends previous and present to raised shape a “Stieglitz world,” with a vintage and kitschy contact. The flagship, designed by Pepijn Smit of S-P-A-C-E Tasks, absolutely displays the founder’s mindset. The experiential retail area is paired with ultra-colorful prints, flared leggings, and lengthy floral clothes. Three sections configure the shop in shades of brown, purple, and orange, with a concentrate on retro furnishings from the 1960s and 1970s. Joe Colombo’s type hovers within the environment, welcoming clients with a tube chair at the entrance. The thick carpeting then invades the place: from the counter to the clothes displays, from the walls to the stairs that take us to the workplaces on the upper flooring. Passing by way of the archway, which varieties a comfortable little lounge, a workshop is hidden in the back room where garments could be tailored. Stieglitz culminates the experience with cultural events, events, and social gatherings.
