At Cinco Sólidos, a Colombian design and architecture studio, minimalism rhymes with integration into the setting. A home of 1100 m² designed to vanish in the mountainside dealing with the town of Medellín, Casa JL is a fantastic illustration. On the surface, lush nature has taken up residence across the wood and concrete construction as if it had all the time been there. On the other aspect, inside, the natural materials and the uncluttered ornament immerse the house in a contemplative environment. The star of this dwelling area, the magnificent white spiral staircase is harking back to the convolutions of a shell. It's as if nature has placed one among its most lovely artistic endeavors right here.
