After briefly learning anthropology, Laurids Gallée decided to turn to design and commenced coaching at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, Vienna. Upon graduation, the Austrian designer labored as a craftsman for many inventive designers. Decided to create furniture that mixes a standard and modern strategy, Laurids Gallée based his own design studio a couple of years later: “Through the years I began to work increasingly more alone creations, and in 2020 I began to work full-time on my personal artistic apply,” he says.

His first goal? To play with supplies, extra specifically with resin. His challenge, “Tralucid,” mixing architecture and design, is the proof. Designed from ten clear resin beams glued together horizontally, the enigmatic development doesn't let any connection present via, which, in line with the designer, provides the chance “to blend into any setting and enlarge the interior with a colourful statement.” The limpidity of the fabric used in the realization of this design piece interferes with the light that surrounds it, projecting, consequently, a naturally warm shade.
