The French designer didn’t look forward to the frenzy across the Phocaean city to return to her hometown, Marseille. Along with settling there in 2012, Margaux Keller has never stopped paying homage to her native Provence by way of her poetic creations. The proof is Margaux Keller Collections, launched in 2019, by way of which she promotes native craftsmanship by means of a number of collection. Number 5, the newest, referred to as “Pink Hour,” highlights “this suspended second,” this “handful of elusive seconds” that is the sundown. On the program, the fragile “beloio” (jewel in Provencal) mild fixture adorned with borosilicate glass spheres, the “souleo” (sun) mirror that means the interaction between sky and sea, and “mousco & cicala” (fly in Provencal and cicada in Italian) of delightful coat hooks harking back to the celebs of the region’s printed fabrics.
