Held by the same household for eighty years, the legendary Café de l’Ormeau is awakening again because of the agitating trio of Indie Group. The thought? To refresh the place while retaining the unique soul. So, the carved picket bar, cement tiles, and wrought iron on the terrace recall the establishment’s belle époque, whereas architect David Granata brings a recent touch.

The picket bistro furnishings is revived by green hues and warmed by means of leather and brass. As for the stoves, the good classics of the area may be loved from early morning to the aperitif.

And what’s new within the Indie Group? The kiosk: cabinets crammed with literary works and newspapers chosen by the curator Emmanuelle Oddo, to devour between two coffees… or two pastis!
